Guest House La CorteZungoli · Irpinia

Zungoli

Zungoli is a village in the Irpinia hills, in the province of Avellino, and part of the association of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

The old town is walkable: stone alleys, stairways, arches and courtyards. The castle stands above the village; a little further on you find the church of Santa Maria Assunta and the Franciscan convent.

The guest house is inside the old town, in Via Piazzetta: everything worth seeing is a few steps from the front door.

From the surrounding hills the view runs far across the fields and the neighbouring villages — which is why it is worth staying at least one evening, rather than just passing through.
