Booking and deposit

A booking is confirmed with a deposit of 30% of the total stay. The balance is paid on arrival.

The contract is formed when the guest house confirms the booking, not when the form is submitted.

How to pay

Payment is by bank transfer. The account details and the reference to use are shown on your booking confirmation page and in the email you receive.

• The reference is the booking code, the one starting with LC-. Without it the transfer arrives with no name and cannot be matched.
• The transfer must be made within the number of days shown on the confirmation. If it does not arrive by then we will contact you, and the request may be cancelled.
• When card payment is switched on, the site offers it instead of the transfer and confirmation is immediate.
• At the property you can pay in cash, within the legal limits, or by card.

Cancellation

Cancellation is free up to 7 days before the arrival date and the deposit is refunded in full. After that the deposit is retained.

Right of withdrawal

For accommodation contracts with a specific date, Italian consumer law excludes the right of withdrawal (article 59(1)(n) of legislative decree 206/2005). This is not a term we invented: it applies to accommodation bookings generally. The free cancellation terms above, which are more generous, still apply.

Check-in and check-out

• Check-in from 2 pm to 8 pm.
• Check-out by 10 am.
• For arrivals outside those hours, just let us know.

Documents

On arrival every guest, including minors, must show a valid identity document: we are required to report guest details to the police within 24 hours, under article 109 of the Italian public security law. How we handle that data is set out in the privacy notice.

Tourist tax

Where due, it is paid on site and is not included in the room rate.

Children, extra bed and cot

• Children up to and including 7 stay free.
• Every room is set up for two people; in each of them an extra bed can be added on request.
• A cot is available for infants and does not take a bed space.

Ask for them when you book and you will find them ready in the room.
