In short: there is nothing to accept here

The public pages of this site set no cookies, load no third-party analytics, have no social buttons that follow you and contact no external server.

This is not a statement of intent: it was checked by opening the pages with a clean browser — zero cookies, zero third-party requests.

Why there is no banner

Consent is required for profiling cookies and for tools that track who you are. Technical cookies — the ones without which a site cannot work — do not require consent, as the Italian Data Protection Authority clarified in its guidelines of 10 June 2021.

Here there are not even technical ones on the public pages: a banner asking permission for nothing would only be one more obstacle.

The one exception: the staff area

Whoever runs the guest house signs in through a protected page, and at that moment a session cookie is created, used only to keep the sign-in open.

• It lasts as long as the working session.
• It holds no personal data beyond the sign-in identifier.
• It has nothing to do with visitors.

If this ever changes

If an analytics tool or a third-party service were added, a banner offering a free choice between accepting and refusing would appear first, and this page would list the name, purpose and duration of every cookie. It would not be done quietly.

How to see and delete cookies

Every browser lets you view stored cookies and delete them, under privacy or site data in the settings. Blocking all cookies prevents neither browsing nor booking on this site.
