Useful information

Times, house rules, shared spaces, shuttle service, where to eat in Zungoli and emergency numbers.

Everything you need during your stay. The same sheet, in Italian and English, is also waiting for you in your room.

Check-in and check-out

  • Check-in: from 12:00 to 18:00.
  • Check-out: by 10:30.
  • When you leave, please put both keys on the desk in your room and close the main door firmly.

If you are arriving outside those hours, let us know in advance: there is almost always a way.

Your room

  • Fridge in the room, with two bottles of water as a welcome gift.
  • Toiletries: soap and shower gel, provided on arrival.
  • Towels (shower, face and bidet) and a hairdryer in the bathroom.
  • Two keys: one for your room and one for the main door, so you can come and go as you please.

Housekeeping

  • Every 2 days: full change of towels, with soap and shower gel topped up.
  • Stays over 7 days: on the seventh day, a full room clean and change of bed linen, on us.
  • Extra cleaning on request: €10 per day, on top of the scheduled ones.

Kitchen, attic and terrace

The shared kitchen is entirely at your disposal: a capsule coffee machine with capsules on the house, cups, plates, glasses and cutlery, pots and cooking utensils, a large fridge, a microwave oven and a dining table seating six.

On the top floor there are the attic and the sun terrace, with sun loungers, tables and chairs. The terrace has its own shared bathroom with a shower, where you will also find the washing machine.

We only ask you to wash your dishes and leave the kitchen tidy after use: the other guests use it too.

House rules

  • No smoking in the rooms or anywhere indoors. Smoking is allowed outdoors only — on the terrace, for instance — using the ashtrays.
  • Quiet hours from 22:00 to 08:00 and from 14:00 to 16:00, especially in the kitchen and on the terrace.
  • Pets are welcome by prior arrangement: please write to us before booking.

Shuttle service

We can drive you, for a fee and to be agreed: from the station or the airport to the guest house and back, or around Zungoli and the nearby villages without having to drive. The price depends on the route, the time and how many of you there are, and is agreed beforehand. Please ask a little in advance. There are more details on the extra services page.

Where to eat

Local food, a short walk from the house. Booking is advised.

Guided tours and experiences

To discover the history, the caves and the paths of the village there is a tailored guided tour and excursion service: RUANDO experience, paid and by appointment.

Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi covers the whole building. The network name and the password are printed on the sheet in your room, together with a QR code that connects your phone without typing anything.
